For our Client, global information agency, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, we are searching for K+ Built Master.
The candidate will work for the Front To Back group responsible for Kondor+ (K+) and part of the Risk Management division.
K+ is one of the flagship products of a clientfor risk management, with more than 15,000 positions in 200 financial institutions worldwide.
Kondor+ is a real-time position keeping system that offers a sophisticated and flexible means of capturing deals and managing risk. The application provides a wide range of tools and functions that give up-to-the-second information and analytics. With Kondor+, users make informed decisions in managing the financial exposure of a trading room's activities. Kondor+ handles a wide range of financial market transactions, including securities, foreign exchange, money market, exchange traded and over-the-counter derivatives. The application manages portfolios, displays real-time positions and results, calculates the value and risk exposure of any combination of financial operations
Main responsibilitiesCandidate will be first trained to our technical environment, tothe client'smethodologies and processes through training sessions in Puteaux, and then through "real life" activity.
Then, he will be fully part of our build management team, merging code when bug fixes are backported to hot fixes or service packs, manage the compilations of K+ cross unix (SUN+AIX), Linux and NT platforms. Integrated in a team under responsibility of Team Leader he will work closely with Development teams.
He will also take care of development environment and 3rd parties used.
Communication skills and availability to speak English are fully part of the job on a daily basis.
Full time, 40% Merging, 40% Compilation Management, 20% hardware management (mainly VMWare infrastructure and OS upgrades, and other 3rd parties)
The ideal candidatehas minimum of 2 years of experience in software development (software companies, banks); he also has knowledge of Unix, Linux, System Administrator, C/C++. He is solution driven person with good communication skills and aproven team player & self starter. Degree in Computer science or equivalent work experience is desirable.
