Junior QA Engineer
Location: WroclawRole Description:
Risk Technologies specializes in developing systems to support Market Risk and Credit Risk. Risk Technologies BAU supports the systems that generate Market Risk and Credit Risk results for Risk Managers. Risk Technologies QA team tests software to validate requirements are implemented correctly before software is released into production.
We would like to onboard a junior resource right now, and put them through 3 months of BAU QA Boot Camp and then transfer them to the project. This is a chance for promising and motivated young professionals to start a career in a large international company
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that systems meets agreed service standards, SLAs and KPIs and in addition the platform adheres to the Technology & Security policy of the MUFG group
- Monitor batch using Control-M. Troubleshoot and resolve any batch issues to meet SLAs.
- Provide ETAs on when results will be delivered
- Resolve any issues identified by IDM from the Measure Reconciliation report
- Fulfil user data requests by writing and running SQL queries on Risk SQL Server databases.
- Make user enhancements to system, often involving SQL stored procedure changes Control-M batch updates.
- Update and create SSRS reports for users
- Follow SDLC standards for all system
SKILLS
MUST
Criteria:
- An inquisitive mindset, an aptitude for problem-solving and technical skills to combine them.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and articulate their business benefits.
- Experience with SQL
- Basic understanding of financial products (bonds, options, swaps, etc)
- A self-starter who is constantly looking for opportunities to improve
- Strong academic background - ideally a 2.1 degree in Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, Engineering or a similar quantitative discipline.
