Our Clientis an international company from waste management sector, a leader in this industry. In connection with the development of the company in United Arabian Emirates located in Dubai, we are currently looking for the right candidate for the position of Junior Logistics Manager/Disponent.Dubai will be a place of work.
The chosen Candidate will be responsible forsupporting the logistics activity in the company. The core focus areas will be: telephone service from and to customers for daily operations, trips and waste collections timings and complaints, being the direct point of contact and direct boss of the drivers and helpers in daily operations. Additionally, main duties include trip planning for all types of collection trucks and providing trip and service documentation. The person will be also responsible for supervision and monitoring of deliveries of bins and spare parts to customers, as well as supervision of warehousing and stock inventory for bins and containers.
The perfect Candidate should havea completed apprenticeship as a forwarding agent/logistics agent/disponent or a bachelor’s degree in a logistics related college major. We look for a Candidate with at least 3 years of experience in a waste management company or similar logistics company, in charge of trip planning, scheduling, evaluation and reporting. We expect a Candidate with multitasking and good analytic skills, able to discover and solve problems in day by day operations. Excellent command of the English language and good knowledge of Microsoft Office are also required. We also expect good technical understanding of garbage trucks (hydraulics and mechanics), good team spirits and communications skills with Drivers and Helpers. German language skills will be an additional advantage.
