THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They are a multinational company based on multiple sites in the Netherlands. Their focus lays on the transportation of food and they have been doing this quite successfully for almost 100 years. Besides this they also have a production site for their own brand of beverages.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role of Junior Logistical Planner you will on one hand be acting as a customer service employee and on the other as a logistical planner. To be able to do this you will get a study internally. After this you're able to do both these functions in this crossover position. Here you will be planning inbound & outbound inventory and logistical orders. Besides this you act as the mediator between various customers and clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for a part of the logistical planning of various in and outbound logistical orders. Besides this you will be acting as the customer service employee which requires you to talk to various clients or customers. Also you will be responsible for:
- Translating the customers demands into actual logistical procedures for both inventory as operations
- Communicating with customers
- Making value added logistical orders
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
- A maximum of 2 years' work experience
- A flexible mentality with good communicative skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English with a preference towards a third European language
