For our Client,a global company focused on providing dissolving wood pulp, paper pulp, paper-based and biorefinery solutions, who has established aShared Service Center in Krakow in 2012 and provide complex business services, we are looking foran Accountant who will join Finance department.
As a (Junior) General Ledger Accountant you will perform tasks within Asset Accounting process, prepare, examine and analyse accounting records (General Ledger and Fixed Assets) and prepare and reconcile financial statements and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with reporting and company standards. Moreover you will be responsible for preparing complex manual journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.In addition you will participate in audits both internal and external, examine organisation's accounts, analyse risk, review organisation's current practices and recommend improvement initiatives.
To be a successful Candidate you should have Accounting, Finance or Business related Bachelor or Master degree as well as presents first professional experience in financial accounting and possess excellent knowledge of accounting systems and regulations (IFRS). You should also be familiar with Journal Processing, Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Fixed Assets Accounting. Fluent English language is required. We are looking for person with good communicative skills, positive attitude and motivation for further development.
