ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Engineering Manager you will report to the Engineering Services Leader. You will provide engineering leadership and technical support interface activities for the pharmaceutical Technology Area. You will work closely with the Technology Area Leader , Pharmaceutical site engineering team leaders, and OpU Functional Leads regarding all areas of engineering including capital planning and execution, global reliability program, energy demand management, utility operations, other GE Programs and initiatives, and engineering talent planning across the Pharmaceutical network. The contract is for 6 months and there is a possibility that the contract could be extended by the employer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide holistic Engineering Leadership and lead the Customer Interface activities for the Pharmaceutical sites. You also provide Safety leadership within the network, both on projects and in operations. Lead Capital Planning and Execution across the Pharmaceutical network. You are also responsible to:
- Define long term engineering requirements in support of network strategies
- Assure a robust talent planning process is in place in Global Engineering and across the engineering teams
- Assess Site organization and personal needs to assure effectiveness and execution at Sites
- Create and champion implementation of Engineering Standards and Processes for the respective OpU
- Provide or identify source of “Subject Matter Expertise” to resolve problems and needs across the Network
REQUIREMENTS
- BSC In Engineering
- 2 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Engineering Operations and Manufacturing
- Experience with GMP, Construction, the Design, Commissioning of pharmaceutical processing within the facilities.
- Excellent command of English and Dutch, both spoken and written
