A leading FMCG Company is hiring an experienced Junior Demand Planner into their global supply chain structures, workplace based in Warsaw. The company has a global presence and operates in over 60 countries.
The purpose of a role will be operationally responsible for product forecast flow. One of main objectives is to evaluate forecast performance and actively drive improvement. Demand Planner provides analysis and insides to integrated planning process. In this role the candidate will be responsible for the demand planning process, coordinating with supply and regions to adjust the demand or supply where needed to mitigate out of stocks. You will ensure a smooth and valid submission of forecast from forecast to supply systems and take corrective actions if required, validate the forecasting quantities are reasonable. You will cooperate with different counterparts to make sure demand for limited life codes is correctly submitted on time and translated into regional accountability (FOA), you will be source of knowledge about forecasting related reports and information flow regarding forecast .
To succeed you will need to have some experience in forecasting or demand planning area in international environment, preferably from FMCG. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, mathematics or economics preferred. Experience with JDA Fulfillment, or SAP is required, as well as very good Excel skills. . You will need to have strong analytical & problem solving skills, and be dynamic and self-motivated. In addition, there is a need of fluent in English.
