We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Java Engineer
Location: Kraków
You will be responsible for developing accurate, efficient and easy to maintain software applications for company. The deliverables should be well tested, accompanied with good documentation, according to specification and set standards, and completed within the allocated timeline.
Key Accountabilities:
Supporting development of large and complex Digital projects in Private Banking to agreed timescales and standards
Performing system analysis
Data analysis and configuration of application artifacts
Designing and documenting systems in accordance with requirements
Working on Internet Banking domain
Defining and governing quality standards. Maintaining expert knowledge in required technology area across multiple platforms
Migrating of complex applications to newer environment including reverse engineering of related system components
Requirements:
Good knowledege of Java (7 or newer), Java EE (6 or newer)
Knowledge of Web Technologies: JSF, Struts, JavaScript, CSS
Previous knowledge of the following technologies: Spring Core, Maven
Knowledge of portlet technology and WebSphere Portal (version 6 and 7)
Understanding of distributed revision control systems and platforms (GIT/RTC)
Attitiude to use SOLID principles and Design Patterns in practice
Innovative approach to solving complex problems with an excelent level of attention to detail
Very good analytical skills
Very good command of English
A high level of motivation, quick to learn and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work with team members in different timezones
