JAVA developer

The Project:

Our Client is building up an exceptional Front Office Technology Team. This team will be working on all activity, from pre-sales, through execution to settlement in sales lifecycle. The work will be challenging, there will be many international partners to work with and we want people who want to work amongst the best IT people in the world.

The Role:

Opportunity for a highly motivated experienced JAVA Developer. Candidate should be hands on with JAVA development and knowledge of making architectural decisions. Ideally suits a technologist who has more than 5 years of Java development experience.

The Skills:

• Strong Core JAVA working knowledge

• Experience building large scale applications - trading applications preferred

• Experience working with n-tier architectures

• Experience with agile methodology

• This individual must be a collaborator and communicator with a clear focus on delivery

• Experience in web based GUI development and / or database skills

• Good understanding of .Net Framework would be an advantage

• Very good English skills – both written and spoken
