Opis stanowiska pracy
We are currently hiring a Java Developer to support one of the biggest players in the containers’ shipping industry business. You will get to work on a multi-currency, multilingual SaaS platform that brings shippers and ocean carriers to successful business transactions.
Your role will cover:
- Participation in full software development life cycle using TDD, BDD; from design, documentation to deployment
- Being active part of our agile team: pair programming, code review, scrum, sprint planning, reveal & retrospectives
- Applying good technical practices: continuous integration, test automation, source code control and review
- Providing diagnostic support and bug fixing for software applications
- Performing and promoting local refactoring when making changes
- Reducing technical debt
- Providing technical impact assessment
- Communication to those outside the team, e.g. writing blog posts, giving presentations, stakeholder demos
- Promoting and participating in process improvements
Wymagania
You have a master degree in Information Technology or related, combined with work experience. You have a good experience with / excellent skills in:
- Java/J2EE, Agile, Automation, continuous delivery, Restful services, Jenkins, Automated Testing frameworks(AUT)
- Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
- Relational Databases
- Web services and other integration patterns
- In-depth knowledge of state-of- the art engineering technical approaches in design, building, testing, debugging problems as required by domain
- Work within agile process – scrums, sprints, reveals, groomings
- Excellent analytical and strong communication skills
Nice to have:
- Building large scale applications and software platforms using Amazon Web Services products and concepts
As you'll work on a daily basis with colleagues in the US, it would help if you like to start your day late to facilitate regular contacts.
