ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Java Developer you will be part of the team who are responsible for creating next generation solutions. You will be actively involved in the whole software development process and you will work closely together with a team of developers and testers in an Agile programming methodology. You will take part in design, coding and maintenance of the new and existing software. You have a high interest in the newest technologies and the technical/ functional aspects of software development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a part of the Scrum team, you like working with the Agile programming methodology
- Responsible for the design and development of new applications
- Working independently on assigned projects, but also able to work in a team to discuss the best design of the applications
- Translate requirements into technical and functional specifications
- Responsible for unit testing and integration testing
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Informatics or comparable
- Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch or French would be a strong plus
- 4+ years' experience with developing in Java
- Knowledge of multiple technologies: J2EE, Eclipse, Design Patterns, web services
- Knowledge of frameworks. like Swing, Hibernate, Jenkins, Angular JS, Bootstrap is a strong plus
- Experience with working in an Agile environment
