Java Cloud Developer (US,GERMANY)
Location: OlsztynSalary: 8 200 - 29 500 PLN gross/month
Between foreign projects you can work remotely from any location.
At Grape Up our mission is to help companies become cloud-native. Our current projects are based on cooperation with international clients from various industries such as automotive or telecommunication from the United States and Germany. These projects require to work on-site at the client’s office. The project duration in the United States is typically 6-12 months on-site, whereas in Germany you will work 3 days at the client’s office and 2 in Poland every week for 3-6 months. Possible locations in the US and Germany are Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Stuttgart.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and building Cloud-Native Applications using Java and Spring on top of Cloud Foundry PaaS platform
- Migrating applications to modern microservices-based architectures
- Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into cloud applications
- Working in XP methodology (pair programming)
REQUIREMENTS
- Mid/senior software developer with experience in Spring and Java (in particular: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security)
- Experience with modern development tools (ideally Intellij, Git, Maven, CI servers, Confluence (or other wikis), JIRA (or other trackers), code review tools, SCA tools)
- Understanding of web applications design principles (twelve-factor applications) and microservice-based architectures
- Knowledge of NoSQL and/or relational databases (ideally Redis, MySQL)
- Knowledge of unit testing and mocking libraries
- Very good command of English
- Good communication skills, openness
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with XP methodology
- Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions such as Cloud Foundry or Heroku
- Experience with virtualized infrastructure and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions such as Amazon Web Services, OpenStack or VMware vSphere
- Experience with Docker (or other containers)
SALARY
We offer attractive salary while working in Poland: 8 200 - 14 700 PLN gross/month
and much more competitive while working on-site:
Projects in the USA: 20 800 – 29 500 PLN gross/month
Projects in Germany: 11 100 – 19 800 PLN gross/month + allowance around 2 700 PLN net/month
Of course we cover the entire cost of business travels and accommodation.
