IT Team Leader - Agile/Scrum - 6k USD/month contract 12m+

Miejsce pracy: Warszawa

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire software development lifecycle including technical analysis, architecture design, software development, QA, release to staging/production and maintenance
  • Managing full stack development of GulfTalent’s platform, based on Symfony 2, Angular JS, Bootstrap, Sass, MySQL, Sphinx, Gearman, LXC/OpenVZ containers and Ansible
  • Providing organisational as well as technical leadership to the team including motivating and coaching the team, workflow management and monitoring, maintaining quality standards, and direct hands-on involvement in critical or challenging problems
  • Architecture design and code reviews
  • Interacting with various stakeholders as needed including senior managers, sales team, end users and technology partners
  • Making recommendations on technology and infrastructure choices faced by the business, based on in-depth reviews and analysis of available options
  • - Involvement in selection and management of technology partners and service providers, including hosting/hardware provider, CDN provider, mobile apps developers, integration partners etc.
  • Involvement in interviewing and selection of new technical hires, as well as performance reviews and appraisals of team members
  • Essential requirements
  • Previous experience of managing front-to-back software development lifecycles using Agile/Scrum
  • Advanced knowledge of the technologies powering the GulfTalent’s platform
  • 5+ years experience in programming
  • Ability to provide the high-level technical vision that fulfills the needs of both business and engineering, and back it up by being able to resolve any low-level issues that may occur in the design/implementation
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage senior stakeholders across all areas of the business
  • - An ongoing commitment to providing a market leading service for internal stakeholders and for our international community
  • Deep personal interest in following new trends in technology coupled with pragmatism regarding their use in production 
  • Degree from a leading university, ideally in Computer Science

Target candidate profile (nice to haves):

  • 10+ years experience in programming, ideally in various languages with focus on web
  • 3+ years experience in managing development
  • Agile evangelist, certified Scrum Master
  • Experience and preference for working in middle-size organisations
  • Exposure to international/multicultural workplaces
