IT Specialist in Devices Automation area (Altiris)

Currently for our client, world leader in the food industry, we are looking for IT Specialist in Devices Automation area (Altiris) to join team in Warsaw

Job specification:
• Contribute in the strategy recommendation, design and implementation of the Enterprise Desktop
environment and corresponding policy development, in order to meet current and future business
needs
• Integrity of the Devices Automation experience is provided to all internal users
• Proactive maintenance of the Enterprise Desktop environment is performed
• Participate or lead infrastructure projects, from this area of responsibilities
• Playing a key role for proposing and supporting new Devices Automation technologies
• Assist in the strategy recommendation, design and implementation of the Enterprise Desktop
environment and corresponding policy development in order to meet current and future business
needs
• Ensure the integrity of the desktop experience provided to all internal users
• Provide technical design and maintenance policies surrounding OS image development, updating
and patching
• Research and understand new desktop technologies, develop designs, and plan for their implementation (a variety of virtual computing technologies including Microsoft, VMware virtualization solutions)
• Provide solutions, technical project implementation, and 2nd and 3rd level support to BU's Service
Desk Team and Business Application teams
• Participate in architecture of Devices Automation solutions to meet business requirements as
necessary and to provide product recommendations, as well as create detailed specifications
• Recommend, develop and maintain the tools for Devices Automation delivery team, to be successful
in supporting the environment
• Perform and compare installation performance against established performance objectives
• Document findings and provide information to upper management
• Mitigate risks to the end-user operating environment by working closely with Security Officer and
• Service Desk team
• Identify and resolve issues as they develop. Understand trends, initiate and manage corrective
action on problems to prevent them from recurring related to the user desktop experience,
• Develop and maintain processes and documentation for BU's Service Desk Team to perform setup,
installation, and configuration of desktop hardware and software
• Responsible to apply and to assure that Group Standards are implemented. Make proposals for Group Standards improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum two years relevant Altiris Solution design or implement or administration in Enterprise environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (WIN 10 OS deployment , Office 365 deployment ) is mandatory. Scripting experience can be an asset
• Can be consider an asset working knowledge with: Other Altiris's similar products ( ex: SCCM or others)
• Excellent communication skills with the internal people and external suppliers
