IT Solution Analyst (Contractor)
Location: Kraków
The role of the IT Solutions Analyst is to analyse and refine business requirements, translating these into IT requirements which enable rapid delivery to market. Solutions proposed must not only meet business need but must be cost effective and in line with Global IT Architecture standards. Solutions should continue to maintain the integrity, resilience and contingency standards expected of HSBC systems. The role is expected to work throughout the project lifecycle, influencing solution direction as appropriate. They will form relationships with stakeholders from the business and IT, taking responsibility for early risk identification and contribute to status reporting during project initiation.
Key Accountabilities:
Consulting closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and requirements, developing user stories in association with product owners
Working with delivery project teams to map requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines, working with testing teams to ensure appropriate test cases are executed against requirements
Engaging business stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives and translating those into viable requirements and user stories for the delivery teams
Identifying potential issues, reviewing solutions and recommending strategies for solving problems
Conducting research – both in technology but also business process and strategy – to ensure knowledge of best practice needed to support delivery for business stakeholders
Requirements:
Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
Strong analytical skills, experience in managing a global team
Ability to work independently, produce high standards of work
Experience and good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
Experience of working in a global role on a complex application is expected
Operational knowledge of commercial web services networking and infrastructure
Experience in a business analyst / scrum master role with Sitecore CMS will be a plus
A working knowledge of tools as Jira, Confluence and/or VSTS will be a plus
Strong analytical skills; Flexibility to meet given timelines (if required)
To be a team player; Ability to motivate people under pressure
