Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers producer of building materials and construction systems. Currently, they are looking for a Command Center specialist. As part of the team, you are responsible for the group monitoring services, provided across several technological platforms - security, infrastructure, network, or application.
Outside of standard monitoring tasks, you will also have an opportunity to develop more in-depth troubleshooting activities and work alongside teams of extremely skilled technical experts of various technologies. Developing yourself, and your technical skills.
Description
- First line of the company's defence against security threats, infrastructure issues, and all other incidents that put company's digital operations at risk of a standstill
- Monitoring the Company's Security related events using the SIEM platform, reporting them, and performing initial troubleshooting, data gathering, and customer contact.
- Troubleshooting incidents, performing simple maintenance tasks, and communicating with technical teams all over the globe.
Profile
- University degree obtained or in progress
- General IT knowledge, obtained during training, or work experience (equivalent to 2 years of experience, or exposure to IT Technologies or Processes)
- General understanding of Security aspects of IT
- General understanding of Infrastructure aspects of IT (Databases, Servers, Networks, Firewalls, etc.)
- Optional skills: Azure Cloud General knowledge, General Security knowledge, and Security related certificates,
- Very good English skills, German is a plus
- A positive, collaborative, and pragmatic attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Some travel expected ca. 10-15% yearly
- Understanding of ITIL Foundation
- Readiness for 24/7 Work
