IT Senior Manager - Security & Risk
It Security & Risk manager is responsible for upholding and improving the cyber security posture.

Description
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
- Support the security accreditation of existing and new technologies that form part of the environment
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
- Provide advice and support to other technology teams in relation to BAU tasks or future projects
- Active engagement with stakeholders and peers from other technology teams providing security advice and support, ensuring that solutions proposed are fit for purpose and implemented alongside industry standards and government requirements
- Create Cybersecurity related system reports and documentation
- Be part of the IT incident response team to resolve any security related Incidents
- Help educate and guide users to increase their understanding of IT security
- Preparing presentation to CIO and business
Profile
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar hands-on management role
- Strong knowledge and experience with security strategies and best practices for on-prem and cloud solutions (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) including AZURE and AWS
- Reasonable knowledge and experience with Vulnerability Management, Access Management, IT Security Standards (e.g. NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
- Network Management and design best practices (Firewalls, WAF's, Internet Proxy, Routers, Switches).
- Practical experience with security management and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills and an ability to work with cross-functional teams of varying levels
- Proactive and can-do attitude
