Key Responsibilities: The primary scope for this role is project delivery of IT implementation projects, specifically in the area of IT Security technologies. All projects shall be delivered in accordance with organization and EIS IT policies. It may include scope for both Core and Site specific Infrastructure.
This role will include accountability for:
- Day-to-day Project Management, project team management, communication, risks, issues, actions, schedules, financials, escalations and stakeholders management.
- Execution, Delivery, Monitoring and reporting on the status of deliverables, tasks, issues, risks, resources, milestones, quality and project schedules. Formal documentation aligned with organization quality standards.
- Providing meaningful inputs to PMO for reports (such as Earned Value or financial status, schedule status) Monitoring and reporting on all project management aspects during the whole lifecycle, resource utilization and resource leveling.
- Alignment of local work package detailed task plans with program level plans.
- Alignment with Programme strategic goals around project deliverables.
- Multi-level communication with project team ,service representatives, Programme and Demand Managers, other stakeholders (as required).
- Provide direction to technical staff on the activities required in plans to ensure successful project outputs.
- Creates and maintains project documentation as required for delivery of project objectives.
- Controls Projects delivery via whole lifecycle with alignment to principles, procedures & quality.
- Project resources management during the whole lifecycle of project delivery.
- Effective multi-level communication.
- Maintains fully resourced loaded project schedules.
- Controls high levels of parallel activity and significant numbers of internal and external dependencies .
- Facilitates compliance with all required regulatory, control and quality management processes through use of complete task level project schedules and/or clear process definitions for project teams to follow.
- Understanding or infrastructure build, integration and test processes, ensuring project schedules are whole and practical.
Specialized Knowledge & Competences:
- Experience of project management delivering IT infrastructure .
- Recommended: one of either Prince2, or PMI (PMBOK) certification, or postgraduate studies in Project Management.
- Quality or Compliance related exposure/experience in a corporate or other highly regulated/controlled environment.
- Effective communicator with strong written and verbal English.
