IT Procurment Manager

Our Client is a part of the world's most international businesses from the FMCG sector, with brands sold in more than 200 markets around the world. Currently, we are looking for a Candidate who will join Warsaw Tech-Hub (IDT – Information&Digital Technology) as a  IT Procurement and Vendor Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Leading execution of category strategies and ensure appropriate governance
• Apply global policies, standards and platforms including the agreed strategic sourcing process to deliver robust terms and conditions that manages Procurement’s service delivery and commercial risk
• Lead global and geographic contract negotiations, supplier management and drive geographic continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers
• To help track, review and report on the category performance, plan implementation and use relevant information to determine opportunities for further improvement to category strategy definition and target setting
• Determine the scope, scale and impact of any new products or services required. Assess the supply market for these requirements and reflect this in the category strategy and targets. Ensure any supplier or supply market innovations that are relevant to the business are communicated and reflected through changed business requirements
• Responsible for providing analysis of supplier proposals ensuring it is reflected into the business case
• Develop vendor management support models (strategic, operational, project) that align with business requirements
• Review IT costs against budgets; evaluating financial reports and addressing potential problems
• Manage and drive continuous improvement with suppliers as part of defined KPI metrics;
• Provide assistance with prioritisation and scheduling of supplier contracts/engagements/innovation
• Drive planning and decision-making processes in line with organisational time lines

Main requirements:

• Degree educated in law or business or qualifications in procurement e.g. CIPS.
• 6+ years post graduate work experience including pre and post execution management of complex high risk, high value supplier contracts and multi-vendor environments.
• Experienced in supplier management processes and standards, including management of third-party suppliers and contract negotiation/issue/dispute resolution.
• Experienced in project management, both waterfall and agile methodologies desirable.
• Experience in large global organisation using in-sourced and out-sourced IDT services models including cloud technology and a good working knowledge of the management of global IDT Services.
• Understanding of SOX and third party outsourced controls desirable.
• Experienced in the core aspects of commercial and contract management. Strong commercial negotiator, able to negotiate contract changes, draft contracts, influence and deliver changes in working practices and to analyse and manage supplier cost implications.
• High level of commercial awareness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Numerical skills.
• Detailed understanding of financial evaluation and interpretation of supplier’s records and their key cost and business drivers.
