Background & Purpose
Reporting to the IT Manager – EU PMO, the successful candidate will be part of the EU PMO team responsible for creating and maintaining the Central IT environment in which projects succeed. The focus will be on developing and maturing project framework, standards compliance, processes & tooling and project assurance & reporting across all VP portfolio streams.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Back-office Application Development for a Project / Process Analyst.
Reporting to the IT Manager – EU PMO, the successful candidate will be part of the EU PMO team responsible for creating and maintaining the Central IT environment in which projects succeed. The focus will be on developing and maturing project framework, standards compliance, processes & tooling and project assurance & reporting across all VP portfolio streams.
Principle Accountabilities
• Project delivery support – work with project managers and other key delivery stakeholders to receive and record outputs/products and provide guidance with the delivery framework.
• Reporting – Carry out portfolio performance analysis based upon risk, schedule and quality data and translate this into informative dashboards for senior management and other stakeholders
• Maintain and develop methods, processes and procedures for working that are compliant with business best practice
• Develop and recommend enhancements to establish IT metrics and tools to track and report progress of defined elements of IT functions, projects or processes against defined targets and goals
• Maintain the integrity of information within the repositories, systems and databases for Central IT integration projects
• Business improvement – use insights and experience from lessons learned to improve and further develop business best practices including automation and workflow management
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the FedEx business environment (current and emerging IT, industry and market practices etc), together with technical job knowledge
• Support an audit regime that monitors compliance with corporate and departmental standards and governance.
Context
• The EU PMO team actively supports all European IT projects.The role will be based in Cracow - Poland with limited travel expected.
Personal Profile
Qualifications: ‘A’ level or equivalent; GCSE in Maths and English; current accreditation or certification to foundation level in at least one of the following:- PRINCE 2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P30), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Management of Risk (MoR), Agile Project Management.
Experience: Experience working within a PMO related role is essential
Familiar with the development and use of quality management systems and processes
Experience of software development projects and project delivery lifecycles
Experience of PMO support and consultation activities within a project delivery environment using structured project management methodologies for compliance and reporting
Experience of Agile working, risk management or change management is desirable.
Skills: Ability to support and facilitate central project office governance and communication processes
Excellent analytical skills with experience of using structured techniques & tools to analyse complex data requirements. Good presentation skills with experience of presenting technical concepts and solutions to technical & non-technical audiences
Prior experience of promoting best practice and process improvements within a project support role
Demonstrated proficiency in the following MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
