IT PMO Lead for HCM Transformation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

An exciting PMO (Program Management Officer) role within HR IT (Application Services), supporting a multi-year global HR transformation program and roadmap, which has recently been approved for implementation by the ExB following a large scale RFI/RFP process. This program will be a top initiative within the bank, with senior level sponsorship (ExB level) with high visibility across HR and Bank User Solutions (BUS).

The HRIT PMO Lead is a key role working closely with the IT & Business Program Managers, other IT PMOs and the Business PMO/TMO team, providing support and assistance in all aspects of program/project governance, reporting, analysis, delivery and change management.

Bank User Solutions (BUS), Application Services, is a technology department with over 350 staff, located in 6 countries, that provides application services (production support; delivery of IT change programs/projects; data, reporting & analytics; testing & environment management; mobile; portfolio management; IT strategy; IT Architecture) for critical IT platforms across the bank for HR, COO & GBSS. It is a team comprising of diverse backgrounds and personalities.

In your PMO role you will work with a like-minded team which collectively enables the best possible setup as well execution of our strategic technology change initiatives. You will operate in a global setup with senior project managers which will support your continuous growth both on the personal as well on the technical level.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establishing the IT program management office scope, tools and governance
  • Confirm the key stakeholders and approach to governance
  • Partner with the internal team and external partners to maintain the management of project management plan
  • Develop risk and issue management/change control plan
  • Establish the standards, processes and toolsets necessary for effective program management and measurement
  • Establish schedules with milestones
  • Ongoing PMO support
  • Effectively operate the project management according to the plans, standards, processes and metrics established, ensuring identification and mitigation of risks/issues and managing quality control
  • Support program planning and execution
  • Track projects and programs and record status
  • Financial forecasts and reporting
  • Communicate status via reports and dashboards
  • Regular status reporting
  • Regular issues, risks & actions reporting
  • Executive steering committee reporting
  • Quality gate approval management
  • Maintenance of the communication and change management plan
  • Participate in Steering Committee Meetings to advise on areas of risk and recommended actions to mitigate
  • Manage general administrative duties where required, including the facilitation and coordination of program/project meetings and workshops

SKILLS

MUST
  1. Proven PMO (at least 5+ years) experience in a large-scale international organization
  2. Previous project &/or portfolio management/support experience &/or relevant accreditations e.g. PMP, Prince2, etc.
  3. Hold at least Bachelor degree (or equivalent)
  4. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, results-oriented with pro-active work approach
  5. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English & ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  6. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, SharePoint
  7. A winning personality who enjoys a good challenge and demonstrates stamina
  8. Strong organizational skills and at ease working on different parallel tasks and projects

NICE TO HAVE
  1. Previous experience with SaaS/Cloud implementations
  2. Previous experience with any human capital management processes and tools
  3. Previous experience operating as the interface between business and technology
  4. Previous experience in agile environments using agile tools and processes
  5. Previous experience using a PPM tool e.g. CA's Clarity or HP PPM
  6. A keen interest in innovation and continuous improvement
