Our client, Delphi Technologies, a Top 50 - Tier 1 automotive supplier with $4.5B in annual revenue, over 20K employees, with operations in 24 countries and conducting business with customers in over 150 countries, are looking for a dynamic and engaging IT Director who can lead from the front and support in building out their new IT department globally


Your new role
The IT CoE Lead Sales will establish a virtual and enterprise-wide Sales & Marketing community with a clear business existence supported with a clear business/application strategy and IT roadmap. The IT CoE Lead Sales has a solid mastery of Sales & Marketing operations, processes, IT applications and underlying technologies to support the business domain - ultimately translating to solid execution, business value delivery and technology adoption as a competitive advantage.

Is responsible for aligning and monitoring Powertrain Sales & Marketing IT Portfolio with business strategy and investments, drive business value creation and project execution in line with business strategy, functional roadmap and IT standards. The strategic component of this role enables influence beyond the technology roadmap, e. g. in the context of shaping future CoE Sales service portfolio and capabilities. The IT CoE Lead Sales reports directly to the IT Director Powertrain.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Computer Science.
  • At least about 10-15 years of IT experience in medium-/ large-sized automotive, industrials, electronics, consulting and/or systems integration companies, with recent Sales & Marketing systems (including front-end) and operational experience.
  • Experience as an IT leader in a global and/or cross-functional lead role in the field of Sales & Marketing.
  • Ability to work with business and IT stakeholders in different regions and interact effectively with different nationalities and cultures.
  • Profound IT functional domain experience in Sales Execution Systems and Sales Reporting and Analytics.
  • Meaningful IT experience on topics like business relationship management, project planning and execution, global deployments, IT strategy and roadmap development, IT portfolio management.
  • Fundamental understanding of the Sales & Marketing drivers directly related to IT cost of ownership. Experience in IT application rationalization via a global common taxonomy, IT server rationalization, IT license management, IT sourcing and enterprise license agreements.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture, solution architecture and design, experience in IT service delivery, IT networking and infrastructure operations in a Sales & Marketing environment will be a plus.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience with systems development lifecycle, ITIL, IT infrastructure services, IT audit and compliance management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present information in ways senior business and financial leaders can understand and support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with stakeholders in different regions and interact effectively with different cultures.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and self-directed to work with a geographically dispersed business and IT teams; ability to keep them motivated in a team-oriented, collaborative and matrixed environment.
  • English language fluency is required. A second language (e. g. Spanish, French, German) is welcomed.
