With its administration, insourcing and risk management services, the company focuses on the administration and structuring of funds, securities, real assets as well as alternative asset classes and offers complex risk management solutions
In the context of the increased regulatory requirements on the IT of the investment companies (KAIT), we are currently in the process of establishing supplementary functions in Universal Investment IT Services GmbH, as full-service IT provider of Universal Investment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we are currently looking for a motivated, performance-oriented and entrepreneurial IT Enterprise Architect, who would like to actively shape the success of Universal-Investment together with us.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the UI IT strategy and strategic roadmap for all aspects concerning the IT architecture;
• Analyse and design system architectures and architecture visions, identify opportunities for innovation as well as for synergies resulting from standardization and harmonization of the application, platform and
infrastructure landscape;
• Drive continuous improvement of the application and technology architecture through appropriate management of development in IT projects;
• Create transparency for all relevant departments in the company by ensuring the creation of complete, uniform and comprehensible documentation of the IT architecture;
• Ensure that the IT design principles and the applicable IT governance and IT security specifications are implemented and adhered to;
• Support the selection of new IT applications and systems as well as the definition of IT projects and business cases with regards to IT architectural aspects, and perform trade-off analyses between architecture principles and customer requirements;
• Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Business Architect, the Cloud Solution Architect and the IT Demand Management representatives and the IT delivery units and incite alignment and knowledge sharing between all relevant stakeholders.
What you offer:
As successful candidate, you will bring the following:
• Master’s degree with focus in information technology (Computer Science etc.) or equivalent qualification;
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the area of enterprise architecture, in various fields of architecture design (data architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, business architecture), software development projects, rollout projects as well as migration;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management, common EAM methods and frameworks (f.ex. TOGAF certification) as well as in using EAM tools;
• Knowledge of various technologies, especially Microsoft Technology Stack, SAP, XENTIS;
• Excellent communication and collaboration as well as negotiation skills;
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with organisational and presentation skills;
• Proactive and entrepreneurial thinking;
• Fluent English;
• Good understanding of the business processes and the supporting information systems used by a fund administration company is a plus.
