For our Client, international company located in Katowice that provides innovative and customised IT solutions, we are currently looking for IT Development Manager.
Your new role
Holding the position you will be responsible for leading and managing teams located in two locations in Poland that include around 20 people as well as you will take part in further development of the organization. Your goal will be to develop a clear IT strategy that will support the growth. You will be managing projects mainly from software development area and in some part from infrastructure, managing and to reviewing the budget, recommending strategic investments. You will closely cooperate with other Senior Managers from different locations to ensure smooth and proactive resolution of projects as well to ensure adoption of application development, operations, infrastructure, and risk management policies and procedures. Moreover, you will be in charge of recruiting, leading, mentoring and coaching the high performing team of software development & IT professionals.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful candidate you need to hold over 10 years of professional experience with approximately 4-5 years in IT project management as well as strong experience as Higher/Senior Level Manager from international company. You must possess university degree, a strong understanding of the modern technology landscape, and ideally a broad expertise in software project functions. As Software Delivery Manager you need to have strong people management experience with ability to manage staff expectation. Also, you need to possess budgeting and financial management experience, strong communication skills, strong reporting and presentation/public speaking skills/experience. Due to work in international environment, you need to speak fluent English. Additionally, it is required to be open for business travels.
