Our Client is a leading financial services organisation present on Stock Exchange. Currently, to the office in Warsaw, the company is looking to recruit:
IT Delivery Manager
Person hired on this position will be responsible for driving the activities of IT delivery teams across a number of technologies, to meet the time, cost and quality objectives of the projects. This function takes overall accountability for internal teams and outsourced development partners in a matrix environment as well as liaison between the project delivery function and senior business and IT stakeholders across the group to agree priorities and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
IT Delivery Manager will not be directly responsible for people management.
The person applying for this position should have previous experience in managing IT projects portfolio (application related, Agile and Waterfall methodologies), operational experience in IT change process management, solid understanding of IT methodologies (Scrum, DevOps) and software development life cycle as well as understanding of enterprise architecture.
Manager should be able to work in a dynamic environment, look at projects from the wider perspective, to predict the risk and adjust plans. We are looking for solution oriented person, who can speak with managers i.e. give them directions not instructions and knows how to convince people to cooperate and unite them around common objective.
Previous positions in IT field such as IT Analyst, Project Manager, Development or Delivery Manager and/or certificates such as TOGAF, Scrum would be of an advantage. Fluent English is also required (cooperation in a multinational environment). Some travels abroad (Europe) may appear – up to 10%.
