BACKGROUND
Mars Global Services (MGS) Digital Technologies (DT), a part of Mars Inc. manages and delivers all IT and digital services to Mars business units. MGS DT Petcare Europe Business Partnership (BP) team is accountable for those services for all Petcare Nutrition Europe (PNE) markets and factories. To efficiently deliver value to the business we are looking to centralize shared team responsibilities with a team of IT consultants based in Warsaw.
THE JOB
The role supports Mars Petcare Europe IT BP associates delivering consistent IT account management services to PNE Business Units, such as local project management, local applications management, IT communication as well as the coordination of cross-regional BP activities (e.g. portfolio rationalization, systems lifecycle management). The successful candidate will be working with global MGS DT teams as well as business stakeholders across Europe and will manage a junior IT Business Partnership consultant to delegate administrative tasks. This is an ideal position to gain a thorough understanding and experience of a global IT function, execute IT account management processes and work daily in multicultural, international environment.

Responsibilities:
The person in this position will support MGS PNE BP associates in France, Germany, Poland and the UK centralizing the delivery of responsibilities such as:
- Local & regional project management, including: system and server upgrades impacting local apps; legal and other mandatory changes in local apps; legacy and portfolio rationalization projects; project status reporting and updates of PPM tool
- Local Applications management, including: license management; process and system maps updates of local systems; security assessments, privacy impact assessments; service reviews and management of user satisfaction
- IT account management and administration: third party vendor management (purchase orders, invoices); cost centre management; financial planning activities; commercial agreements
- Line management of the junior consultant: setting objectives; delegation of administrative tasks; managing and measuring work
- Local BP communication: local IT service marketing; newsletters
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as project manager / project coordinator
- Min. bachelor degree or equivalent (IT / Business Management degree preferred)
- Experience in delivering results in at least one of the following three areas: Application support, Project delivery, IT account management
- Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationships including business users, IT personnel and project teams
- Strong technical skills
- Strong problem analysis and influencing / networking skills
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written) mandatory, German would be an advantage
- Driving license cat. B and ready for up to 25% business travel time, including international travel
