IT Business Analyst–Data Protection/Data Governance

The role of IT Business Analyst is to lead and be accountable for the definition of the analysis approach and end-to-end interface journey for large Data Privacy/Data Quality Programme. The overall goal is to help ensure adherence to the underlying Data Privacy laws and regulations through effective, centralized processes and oversight.
Responsibilites:
- Rapidly understanding business requirements through regular interactions with the business users, central project sponsors and other subject matter experts reffered to GPDR and wider data privacy regulations
- Translation of business requirements into solution designs and functional requirements
- Support the Business in conversations on Business value & investment required and prioritisation across the portfolio of work
- Work closely with key delivery stakeholders to ensure alignment with the wider change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values and Behaviours
Required skills:
- 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in business analysis role on complex projects across countries or regions
- Demonstrable experience of working in a data-related role
- Understanding of banking/financial services industry and/or shared services organizations
- Ability to work with business users and stakeholders at all levels with confidence
- Excellent communication, both written and spoken (in English)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulations is preffered
