Description
Currently, we are looking for IT Business Analyst who will carry out a project for our Client – one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers.
Main tasks
The Business Analyst supports IT Relationship Managers by providing consultancy services. These consultancy services cover presales consultancy, new proposition definition, and assessing viability of new requests by providing options (Clear Choices) for medium or large-scale propositions.
• Deliver against specification/customer need, on time and to budget
• Identify & deliver sustainable savings
• Realise measurable improvements in customer satisfaction and service quality
• Reduce costs & operational losses
• Faults in project deliverables addressed at appropriate stages
• Customer/stakeholder satisfaction relating to project process and outcomes
• Change Delivery team viewed by business functions as professionals who add value
Requirements
The Business Analyst will have a detailed knowledge of:
• Structured Project Methodology
• Appropriate leadership courses associated with business analysis or consultancy
• Regional/local IT and business strategy
• Internal Consulting methods and Project Management best practice.
• Have a good knowledge of the project lifecycle
• Understands the global strategies of IT and the Group and collaborates with the business at a global level to accomplish these strategies
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of business
• Find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution
• Strong leadership and management ability, motivating IT employees
• Proven ability to prioritise competing demands
• Demonstrated ability to assess IT trends
• Typically educated to an undergraduate degree level
• Good understanding of how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer;
• A good level of analysis experience and knowledge of structured techniques and Group standards;
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders;
• Good knowledge of project management and staff management; and
• A wide knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks.
