IT Architecture Consultant
This is a great opportunity for you to work in a key platform implementation with cloud foundry – Platform as a service (PaaS). Candidate should lead and participate in the design, build of cloud platforms. This includes architecting, designing and building enterprise platform solutions from the ground up as well as the customization, extension, and implementation of third party software products.
- Will lead and be accountable for overall technical solutions of services that integrate with Cloud Platforms
- Collaborates well with Senior Technical Staff throughout the IT Organization
- Offers proposed design changes/suggestions to processes and applications, exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment
- Responsible for translating the functional specifications into an application architecture that is conducive to IT’s technical processes and standards
- Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative
Essential Requirements
- Hands on experience in UNIX, and Linux and Windows OS
- Hands-on experience with diverse HTTP/JEE/Middleware products (Apache, tomcat etc.,) and solutions
- Knowledge of complex, multi-tier application architectures, and the ability to analyze, document, and communicate specific aspects of their design
- Hands-on experience in Linux and/or Windows scripting, automation, and configuration management tools like puppet, chef
- Good knowledge in networking, Virtualization and storage solutions
- Ability to coordinate the work of other team members and effectively share technical information with less experienced or knowledgeable co-workers
- Bachelor’s in Computers Engineering or relevant field. Minimum 10 years of experience is required .
Desirable Requirements
- Cloud platform concepts such as Software as a service (SaaS) and Platform as a service (PaaS)
- Knowledge of cloud foundry –PaaS and Experience in container technologies (Docker) and implementation is a plus
- Experience working with a caching technology such as Redis , EHCache is a plus
- Knowledge of messaging systems integration like Rabbit MQ, Active MQ knowledge of STS, GitHub, Subversion
