• Promote the value of Asset & Configuration management policies, processes and procedures within the organization to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
• Follow processes and controls for maintaining the configuration management system, thereby keeping the integrity of the configuration management system.
• Monitor the configuration management system and configuration item data and remediate non-compliance and ensure the database reflects the business environment.
• Support team, work collaboratively to contribute to supporting the achievement of the organization’s business goals
• Provide and obtain information for inclusion in the configuration management system
• Some understanding of multi-tiered applications and how hardware and software components link together.
• Understanding the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrable strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and effectively plan within a rapidly changing environment and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and schedules and be accountable.
• Experience of ServiceNow or similar asset management software would be advantageous.
• Experience of the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or general healthcare industries in an advantage.

• Maintain the Change Management Data Base (CMDB) to securely store Configuration Item (CI) data and to provide accurate information for risk assessment and incident resolution.• Promote the value of Asset & Configuration management policies, processes and procedures within the organization to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
• Follow processes and controls for maintaining the configuration management system, thereby keeping the integrity of the configuration management system.
• Monitor the configuration management system and configuration item data and remediate non-compliance and ensure the database reflects the business environment.

Requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience working in an IT Service Asset & Configuration role.• Some understanding of multi-tiered applications and how hardware and software components link together.
• Understanding the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrable strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and effectively plan within a rapidly changing environment and able to handle multiple tasks.
