You will be responsible for handling and executing various inventory transactions in close cooperation with our offshore rigs, onshore warehouses and HQ inventory team. You will be a technical expert for assessing the inventory condition stored onshore and making sure that’s it’s reflected properly in the ERP system. What is more you will be a ERP system super user and you will assist requesters with process compliance and system understanding. This will require in-depth investigation to identify root causes of issues, with subsequent data cleansing, data repairs and process review in cooperation with our IT, Master Data Management and Finance team.

You will also assist our HQ based Equipment Exchange Part (EEP) team with equipment history, perform follow up on equipment repairs with service suppliers and support investigations when required, furthermore supporting inter-company sales and rental

The key responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist will be to:

- Handle and execute inventory requests in our customer service portal Connect
- Assess inventory condition, i.e. physical condition of parts, and ensure accuracy of inventory condition in IFS in cooperation with the Inventory QA Manager
- Execute preservation of onshore stored parts and ensure quality of same in cooperation with our Technical Organization
- Prepare data cleansing and data repair cases - Support process and system compliance within inventory
- Follow up on service deliveries and master data requests
- Develop ad hoc and standard BI reports to monitor and manage process and system errors and compliance
- Perform various ad-hoc tasks related to inventory

Requirements:

- Your background is preferably from a similar support position with in-depth ERP system understanding - preferably within inventory, maintenance or master data. As a person you are very structured, and process driven with an eye for details.
- Knowledge of working with customer support systems and ERP systems, preferably IFS, and experience in evaluating maintenance transactional data
- Good functional knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and inventory management processes
- Formal education on minimum bachelor level or equivalent within technical management,
- Previous experience working as Technical Section Leader or Maintenance Engineer offshore will be considered as an advantage.Relevant experience can compensate for required formal education
- Excellent English language skills
