We are looking for Inventory QA Specialist to join Inventory team.

As a Inventory Quality Assurance Specialistyou will support the inventory management team with optimizing and ensuring accuracy of Maersk Drilling’s inventory through monitoring the execution of cyclical counting activities across MD. You will be responsible for the execution of cyclical counting activities across MD onshore and offshore warehouse locations. You will also ensure accuracy of the physical condition evaluation of parts in inventory in cooperation with the Inventory Specialists and based on same, responsible for selection of parts for potential divestment. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain Management EEP team, Operations and Technical Organization.

Your day to day duties will include:
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory by monitoring the execution of regular cyclical counting activities across all MD onshore and offshore warehouse locations
  • Assist warehouse operators onshore and offshore with planning and execution of cyclical counting and capture the resulting inventory data in IFS
  • Evaluate inventory condition in cooperation with the Inventory Specialists, i.e. physical condition of parts, and ensure accuracy of inventory condition data in IFS
  • Evaluate and select parts for divestment as per MD Divestment process and present to Head of Inventory for approval and execution of disposal of parts
  • Provide support and coaching to T.O. and Operations functions to maintain inventory accuracy both during project activities, e.g. SPS, and daily operations
  • Support the Inventory Governance & Compliance Managers in the definition of and execution of inventory management policies and the periodic cycle counting plan
  • Cross-functional with Supply Chain Management EEP/Operations/TO where applicable for evaluation of divestment of parts


What do you need to succeed?
  • ERP Super User experience
  • Continues improvement mind set and experience, e.g. Six Sigma or similar qualifications
  • Formal education on minimum bachelor level or equivalent within Supply Chain Management or other relevant field
  • Extensive knowledge of working in ERP systems and experience in evaluating inventory transactional data
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant job experience within inventory management or other relevant experience. Offshore experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of working with SQL, Power BI and database competences are an advantage
  • Relevant experience can compensate for required formal education
  • Fluent written/verbal English
