THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.

This fast paced international company deals in Food Ingredients, bordering on the chemical side. Nutrition and customer health are priorities, so they're looking for someone with a passion for these areas.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Internal Sales Executive, you maintain the key accounts. Customer relations run through you so you are reliable, you understand the importance of following up and you can cross-sell functional ingredients. Knowledge of the products is no pre-requisite, but a willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge is. You deliver solutions to whichever questions customers may ask. The goal is to develop close relations, have repeat business and grow the sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing a cross-selling strategy
• Offering tailor-made solutions to every account
• Developing market knowledge
• Target setting, setting pricing guidelines
• Managing risks together with customers
• Negotiating prices with customers

REQUIREMENTS

• MSc or BSc in Commerce
• 3 years of commercial experience in the Food industry
• preferably experience with food ingredients
• comfortable handing questions, complaints
• calm, communicative personality, strong negotiator
• fluent English, Dutch and French are a must
