Internal Auditor
Job mission:
Perform financial, operational and compliance based internal audits, in line with the regional audit plan. Prepare internal audit reports, reflecting the results of the work performed. The Senior Internal Auditor may also review the work of other Internal Staff Auditor and will assist Internal Audit Management with the preparation of reporting to both management and the Audit Committee.
Main activities:
- Assist in identifying and evaluating audit risk areas and provide inputs to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan.
- Coordinate and/or perform SOX 404 testing, including the performance and walkthroughs and control testing, analyzing key controls, documenting deficiencies, and providing feedback as to how controls can be improved.
- Perform financial, operational, and compliance based audit projects, including identifying and defining issues, development of criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures.
- Participate in developing internal audit deliverables and ensure that work is completed within agreed timeframes.
- Supervise and audit work products such as audit analysis, memorandums, and other working papers to document and support audit procedures (as per Global IA Policy).
- Presentation of audit findings with management and those impacted by the report findings.
- Provide assistance to the external auditors for their annual audit including SOX 404 procedures.
- Analyze processes and suggest system improvements.
- Conduct opening and closing meetings for audits.
- Special projects as requested.
- Attend selected conferences and/or seminars.
- Manages own organization and succession planning.
- Provide transparent feedback and continuous coaching to the team under his/her responsibility and identify development areas. Embrace lean and continuous excellence attitude when auditing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as the situation requires.
- Ensures pro-activeness in his/her career development.
- Attends educational activities.
- Uses own expertise to support Manager in ,,people growth” with giving, asking & receiving right level of feedback.
