For one of our key business partners – big international organisation - we are currently looking for an experienced Internal Audit Director (regional function).
Location: Gdańsk.
Main areas of responsibilities include managing the key objectives of the operational internal audit function, oversee the management of the operational internal audit plan, develop an internal audit strategy and function that appropriately considers the relevant and evolving business risks facing the organisation and addresses those risks in an effective manner, act as a senior liaison for all key internal audit key client relation activities, ensure timely and accurate communication and reporting of all internal audit activities, strong manager and mentor with the ability to lead all direct reports and internal audit team members, coordination of all internal audit activities across all markets (Europe region), reporting to US (reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Audit, this position serves as the primary role in directing the Company’s Operational and Financial audit.
Best Candidate should be experienced in area of audit (10+ years of experience), be an experienced people manager, gained experience from international, multi-business unit environment (consulting – Big4 or internal departments) and has special soft skills (very good communication skills, open-minded person, creative, focused on details). What is more you should present practical knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB standards, extensive experience in developing and managing audit plans, organisation budgets and complex projects. CPA certificate is required, CIA and / or MBA would be treated as an advantage. Fluent English is a must! Travel up to 20-25% with international trips.
