THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company is a large player in the beverage sector and has a variety of well-known brands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Due to maternity leave, the company is looking to cover for a member of the Central QA Team. You will be responsible for the artwork, export documents and complaint handling. For this role, you will need a good grasp of EU (and non-EU) food legislation.
This is a temporary assignment from June 1 until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension. The assignment will be for 32-40 hours per week, with a preference for 40 hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Central QA Team.
- Check artwork (labels, packaging, etc.) against QA standards.
- Check export documents.
- Handle customer complaints.
- Support projects by giving advise on food legislation issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree, e.g. Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance in the food industry.
- Experience with EU food legislation, at minimum 1196.
- Experience with non-EU food legislation is a plus.
- Experience with checking artwork, labels and export documents.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
