THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
You will work on several logistical projects in the European region.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
An exciting project for experienced logistical professionals, with broad knowledge of production and supply chain processes. As interim logistics manager you will support in a wide array of projects, focusing on the improvement of warehousing, distribution and supplier processes. You will manage an external portfolio of 3PL / logistical partners, as well as streamline all associated processes.
In order to do so, you will collaborate with several business units on international scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improvement of logistical processes on international level
- Collaborate with several business units in the field of supply chain and operations
- Initiation of continuous improvement projects
- Manage external logistical suppliers
- Assess performance of warehouse / distribution processes
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics
- Strong knowledge of Logistics / Warehousing / 3PL processes
- Previous experience in the Food industry is a strong plus
- Fluency in English, Dutch and preferably French
