Purpose of the Job:
The objective of this position is the responsibility of implementation and development lifecycle maintenance of integration applications in the IT landscape within the Group system application landscape in a defined quality, budget and time. Activities will support the setup, imple-mentation and the sustainability of integration software architectures. The Integration consultant will align with all relevant stakeholders from IT and Business side within the Group. By creating technical concepts, solution designs and including architectural alignment with the overall architectural principles within the group a high development standard and quality of code is being ensured.

Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Conception and analysis of processes and their implementation in the Group, taking into account the framework conditions and requirements (technology, IT governance, architecture, security).
- Development and optimization of interfaces and connectors and implementation of data mappings for the integration of SAP and non-SAP systems (salesforce etc., IOT, Microsoft azure)
- With a strong background of SAP modules and processes, ensuring the implementation of optimal solution within the end-to-end processes in the Group.
- Taking ownership of responsibility for specific topics as an internal contact, driving activities proactively.
- Taking over operational and support tasks as part of the 3rd Level Support.
- Assessment and improvement of integration scenario performance, design and efficiency, constant refactoring of existing components in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
- Creation of documentation.
- Team collaboration using agile development processes.
- Ensuring code quality, performing code reviews, pair programming.
- Evaluation and improvement of program effectiveness and performance as well as constant refactoring of existing components in close collaboration with the end-to-end process streams (E2E).
- Continuing education through attendance at seminars and congresses, regular exchange on the topics.
- Organization and implementation of know-how transfers among colleagues
- Creation and Implementation of Test Scenarios ensuring the acceptance criteria for functional component builds.
- Design, adaption, implementation and management of Deployments (Development, Staging, Production) on respective systems.
- Corporate governance - Compliance with all internal regulations and directives in the currently valid version.
- Out of scope - User testing (excl. Developer Testing)
Requirements:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science/business informatics or equal education with at least 3 years of professional experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience within the SAP PO / NetWeaver environment.
- Experience in conception, design and implementation of SAP integration technologies such as PO 7.5 (integration processes), RFC, BAPI / Proxy, ALE / IDOC, EDI, BPM or components of the SAP Cloud Platform, Salesforce, MS Azure, Ali Baba.
- Expertise in SAP ERP 8.0 or S / 4 HANA supplemented by experience in the areas of logistics, sales and master data. Good knowledge of Java and knowledge of mapping technologies (XSLT, graphic map pings).
- Integration architecture.
- Experience in modern development methods and tools (e.g. continuous integration, automated testing, development in the cloud or other.)
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Demonstration of high ethics and values with a high customer orientation, responsibility for high-quality services. A high level of Teamwork-orientation, open-mindedness and personal flexibility regarding tasks.
- Experience in agile methods (e.g. Kanban, SCRUM).
- Effective communication skills and assertiveness; team skills with high own initiative and motivation; pronounced and applied communication skills in English (fluent)
