THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.

This client operates in the global food ingredients market and is located near Brussels, Belgium. They offer a wide range of products and adjust this per individual client, which is an approach you would be following up in this role.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As internal sales representative, you are in charge of the sales process once your colleagues from the external sales have made the first contact. You know how to develop lasting relationships. Moreover, you understand office tasks, are patient and understand the importance of continuity. Excellent service has made this company great and you aim to fully honour this principle. In your previous sales experience, you have a proven track record of cross-selling, business development and logistically following up. You keep an eye out for potential business and know in which direction the market is headed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answering customer questions on pricing, products and customer needs
• Processing sales orders and arranging the administration
• Following up on pending orders
• Promoting features and benefits of the various products
• Communicating efficiently by phone and email
• Handling customer complaints
• Offering administrative support to internal departments
• Identifying leads

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Master commercial degree
• minimum of 5 years experience in an international sales environment
• strong office, computer, logistics skills
• fluent English, French and Dutch
• strong communicative skills, a commitment to building relations and following up
• stress-resistant, enthusiastic, pro-active personality
