The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting in the day to day sales activities necessary to increase revenue from the sales agreements and interact with customers on a daily basis, responding to inquires in an efficient and timely manner. The Inside Sales Associate will also be responsible for reaching out to active and inactive Luminex customers in order to increase revenue and generating quotes.

 

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Lead qualification and Assist Sales in follow up remaining leads after tradeshows
  • CRM management for lead process
  • Administrative support in generating quotes, contracts
  • Assistance with tender paperwork
  • Tracking contract status
  • Checking order status / delivery dates
  • Scheduling / organizing demonstration / evaluations of new products
  • Interact with various internal and external groups to facilitate the completion of the demo and evaluation of products for customers
  • Act as a point of contact for customers providing continual communication of order status or changes
  • Monitor customer satisfaction of current processes and provide recommended changes
  • Manage key performance metrics

Service sales support:

  • Administrative backfill of service sales associate during absence, holidays or peak periods.

Required education and training:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferable in life science.

Required certifcation/licens and special skills:

  • Highly organized with proven time management and prioritization skills, proven ability to multitask
  • Strong problem solving skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams to successfully complete projects/tasks on time
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with Customers
  • Self-starter, enthusiastic and team-oriented
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, Fluent in German or French is a plus
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills
  • Self-confident and strong work ethic
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience with salesforce.com and Oracle is a plus
  • Experience in a Diagnostic lab is a plus

Required work experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related position
  • Experience working independently in a commercial, fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities

Working Conditions:

  • Office based position, but occassionaly this position requires travelling to customers/tradeshows and events.
  • Work situations include dealing with customers; working independently; making judgments and decisions
