Industry 4.0 Manager is coordinating, facilitating and executing the implementation of the Manufacturing digital strategy, with the factory operations, using new technologies (Manufacturing 4.0), to answer and accelerate the current business needs (productivity, flexibility, time to market, food safety compliance, etc.)
Key responsibilities:
Implement pilots of selected digital solutions, to lead the People transformation, and to coordinate the roll-out across the plants worldwide:
- Implement and execute solutions inside the Manufacturing 4.0 toolbox including selection of the potential technologies (Big Data, COBOTS, Augmented Reality, etc.), the validation of pilot projects, post-mortem analysis of these labs and proposing to go/no-go on standardizing these projects as best practices for factories
- Execute and enrich the vision of the Digital Manufacturing - based on a dynamic mapping of the current and potential initiatives to boost experimentation with a clear target to improve manufacturing performance
- Interact with different functions internally: Digital Pilots’ teams, and Central functions, such as Performance and IS teams.
- Interact externally: with different suppliers and technology centers to understand and scout new technologies and identify potential solutions for our network, via an active external network.
- Manage internal/external communication about all the initiatives
- Industry 4.0 Manager is reporting to the Manufacturing Digital Technology Director.
Essential:
- Expert in new digital technologies (geek profile), curious and enthusiastic
- Experience in Production. Affinity with Manufacturing environment, Project Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Experience in Change management and People transformation
- Ability to communicate in English with various & varied stakeholders (IS, R&D, Engineering, Quality and Purchasing functions; Suppliers) from different geographies
- Ability to travel, to the different plants location and suppliers (about 10-20%)
Preferred:
- Background in Digital and/or IT/OT technology (automation, database)
- Skills in Data science (algorithms, mathematics, AI, …)
