For our Client, international company based in Gliwice from automotive industry, we are looking for Industrialization Engineer / NPI Process Engineer (greenfield)
Key responsibilities:
- Support the introduction of new products, new raw materials and new processes, from introduction to release of full scale production
- Ensure all new raw materials and new processes are thoroughly risk assessed and all hazards are appropriately actioned to reduce risks to people and the environment
- Ensure all changes are managed through the change control process
- To maintain WRMS (or other batch recipe system) standards and update recipes as needed. Awareness of APQP schedule and updating WRMS recipes accordingly for trials and new products.
- Awareness of day to day production plan at all times and current performance against it with respect to validations, new products and any unreleased products
- Ensure all process support issues are investigated and ensure improvement actions are identified, recorded and implemented
- Maintain the product monitoring spreadsheet to ensure maximum percentage of products are in released category. Ensure adherence to requirements related to visual factory (for example, updating team/line boards, KPI boards, etc)
- To drive improvement in standards in all aspects of the process support activities and outputs. To participate in a team environment that facilitates continuous improvement of current standards using lean tools; proactively sustaining all improvements through direct and indirect actions across the plant. Ensure all customer and internal Quality requirements are met at all times. Participate in Continuous Improvement projects whenever possible
- Keep SAP (or other ERP system) work orders up to date and ensure all transactions for stock control are kept up to date
- Active involvement in TPM and lean activities
- Ensure excellent, proactive communication with team and other departments
- Ensure safe working of yourself and look after other people’s safety
- Monitors and communicates agreed KPIs, with clear communication and escalation at early stages of any issues. Through a good understanding of the processes, propose improvement actions for all production related issues.
- Degree level in technical discipline
- 2 years’ experience working in production environment
- Lean manufacturing and problem solving skills
- Good English knowledge
