Incident Management Capacity planning Expert

Miejsce pracy: Kraków

The job holder is primarily responsible for participating in a team responsible for setting and administering the Capacity Management Framework. It will be expected that the job holder ensures a high quality standard of deliverables according to the standards and best practices, prepares Capacity-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking, provides professional consultancy and support in response to the queries from developers and business on capacity related queries and assists in the uplift of Capability of IT Service Owners and Engineers in the Capacity Management practices.

Key Accountabilities:

Prepare Capacity related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking
Review projects for compliance to the Service Acceptance guidelines prior to go-live
Identify, suggest & implement improvements and/or new pro-active processes / quality checks
Interaction / Engagement with customer entities / requestors proactively to understand requirements, business impacts & provide solutions
All business communication to be responded / replied within agreed timelines
Raise issues, provide advise / solution to customer entities in timely manner, ensure no surprises
Assist in the capability uplift across the IT Service Owner and Engineering communities in the Capacity Management Practice
Conduct knowledge sharing sessions within the technology team
Create & track personal development plan.
Ensure systems comply with group infrastructure and security policies and standards
Ensure that service placement guidelines are followed

Requirements:

Demonstrate a working knowledge of the ITIL Service Management Framework
Experience of Capacity Planning data centres
Experience of the production of reports that will be read by both technical and non-technical staff
Knowledge of Aperture would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills, with ability to describe complex technical scenarios in a concise manner, both verbally and written (in English), and articulating the content depending on the audience
Good analytical skills to review, understand and interpret documentation & requirements
Working across cultures
Industry standard certification would be a significant advantage
Able to self-direct their work and identify appropriate policies
