We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
IN HOUSE LAWYER (FinTech Start-up)
Location: Warsaw
Responsibilities:
Serving fulltime as legal advisor to the company
Helping with current legal problems and procedures
Drafting legal opinions
Working on due diligence projects
Negotiating commercial agreements, preparing the relevant transactional documentation
Minimizing contact with external legal suppliers
Requirements:
Legal degree with min. 1 year experience in working as an lawyer / in-house lawyer
Attorney-at-law title will be a strong asset
Knowledge of compliance area
Research and analytical skills in the field of legal
Fluency in spoken and written English
Knowledge of Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrencies (e.g. Bitcoin) is ideal but not essential, however getting interest in the same is crucial here
