Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Overall accountability for all employees across countries within the EMEA region. Major markets and physical locations are within the UK and Poland.
  • Support and business partner with all EMEA Senior Directors, VP’s and GM’s
  • Provide employee relations guidance and support across all aspects of HR policy and practice (e.g. performance management, attendance, grievance, disciplinary etc).
  • Support the development and implementation of people policies and procedures; coaching managers in using these to support the high performance of teams and individuals.
  • Ensure full compliance under EMEA employment law and internal company policies
  • Work collaboratively with others on cross-functional and/or global teams to execute strategic initiatives, and to generate ideas and introduce new concepts and HR processes.
  • Act as first point of contact for local work councils and unions
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and carry out all change management or restructuring programs within region, including acquisition and downsizing activity.
  • Drive and promote employee engagement, leading the appropriate action plan for the business/region
  • Own the development, approval, and documentation of HR facing knowledge resources that your team will use to answer inquiries and provide services in a continuous manner; work closely with HR COEs (Total Rewards, People Development, HR Operations, TA, Payroll) to continuously grow and revise HR knowledge base
  • Responsible for supervising and designing the operations of the global HR Operations team providing management and leadership direction to the team.
  • Design, Review and sign off on the process documentation and technical design documentation to confirm understanding and assure quality of solutions which will transition into the HR Global Operations team.
  • Streamline and manage the quality of the Human Resources administrative processes
  • Responsible for identifying reports required to resolve service performance and responsible for analyzing for service improvement opportunities and other wider continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure the proper completion and maintenance of employee records and data
  • Ensure high level of customer service and maintenance of SLA’s to all employee inquires
  • Resolve escalated issues regarding transactions, processes and team activities.
  • Regularly reviews processes for opportunities to streamline or eliminate gaps to make processes as easy as possible for Employees, Managers, Leaders and the HR Function
  • Collaborating with other teams to set timelines and develop implementation plans for identified opportunities.
  • Train coordinators on transactions and processes, as well, customer service skills.
  • Own and drive Human Resources projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Work with Global Vice-President of HR to develop and roll-out all global HR strategy and priorities
  • Collaborate with Global HR Team
  • Partner with senior business leaders across EMEA to understand, coach and advise on all their HR and people requirements including identifying top talent and creating effective development and succession plans

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of HR experience including at least 2 years of HR management experience
  • A fluent level of English & Polish is mandatory
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws within EMEA (most notably within the UK and Poland)
  • Strong working knowledge of immigration law
  • Strong process design, analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving
  • Background working within a rapidly growing global organization
  • Experience working across different geographies and cultures
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, be tactful and operate with discretion be able to plan,
  • Strong prioritization skills, work well under pressure, ability to take initiative
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, multiple deadlines, and competing demands
  • Ability to thrive in and have a preference for a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience creating and rolling out HR projects and initiatives across teams
  • Strong Excel skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in working with HR systems, more specifically Dayforce
