We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Key Accountabilities:
Provide support or co-ordination of initiatives which serve to implement, improve and maintain good records and data retention management practices.
Provide support in implementing sustainable operating models for records and data retention activities in the remit area.
Ensure good practices in the management of records and data retention tools, reference data, records and data retention standards, records and data frameworks and templates. Ensure these are fitting for business needs and comply with prevailing regulations.
Support the management, monitoring and mitigation of operational risk in the field of records and data retention management.
Work with internal stakeholders to determine business needs in the areas of records and data retention maintenance, records and data retention governance, risk management and records and data retention good practice.
Provide support to records and data retention governance working groups and decision making forums.
Provide assistance in ensuring that the operating methods and aims of the Chief Data Office is aligned to the prevailing methodologies with the remit area.
Centrally manage administration and communication of data governance globally across our Client on behalf of the records and data retention governance stakeholder community (e.g. Legal, Compliance or other GB/GF CDO/GRO)
The jobholder will be required to work closely with key stakeholders within RIG and Legal, as well as impacted business representatives and potentially 3rd party vendors on a regular basis.
Once the system and processes are embedded as BAU, the role will require regular dialogue with owners to ensure destruction Holds meet agreed standards of scope, content and are communicated effectively.
Additionally, the jobholder will be required to provide SME support to Records & Information Policy Manager (RIPSMs) and B/F Departmental Records Coordinators (DRCs) in the implementation of the Hold on impacted records.
Additional responsibility will be for the generation and administration of monthly MI through the reporting tool
Collaborate with IT where global systems are impacted
Work with RIG managers to ensure RIG MI is produced to required standards
Responsible for ensuring all relevant stakeholders/RIG managers and regulatory reporting community are fully informed of any new changes or regulatory updates
Drive the understanding and correct use of the governance process to deliver an effective communication process
Introduce appropriate measures to evidence effective data controls execution
Work with CDO teams to oversee the execution of mitigation plans within impacted businesses/functions
Deliver MI reporting on time and to required standards
Requirements:
Education: MBA/MCOM/CA/ICWA or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 2-5 years records management experience and data governance, with ability to demonstrate successful leadership of complex projects. Embedding records management processes is preferred although not essential.
Possesses strong communication and influencing skills.
Independent, entrepreneurial and proactive.
