Our Client is one of the biggest companies as for the internet traffic management and data caching. This is the leader in Web Application Acceleration, Performance Management and Streaming Media Services, having more than 200,000 servers and delivering up to 30% of all Web traffic.

Currently for our Client we are looking for a Helpdesk Administrator

 

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for providing support to our client employees
  • Serve as the first point of contact as a technical assistance over the phone, email, voice or IM
  • Act as a technical resource and escalation point for multiple technologies, including Mac and Linux desktop systems
  • Develop tools to improve helpdesk efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and document processes and procedures for improving efficiencies and decreasing response times

 

Required Skills:

  • About 2 years of experience with troubleshooting, upgrading, and repairing desktops, laptops, and associated hardware
  • English min. B2
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with remote support solutions, i.e. Bomgar, WebEx Support
  • Experience with RemedyForce/BMC RemedyForce
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks 
  • Experience supporting a high tech and software development environment
  • Team-first attitude and strong interpersonal skills

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Good level of competence with Mac OS and Ubuntu Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of packaging, scripting and automation
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (DHCP, DNS, HTTP, basic switching)
