Head of Operations and SSC
To support the successful growth of our Client's SSC structures, we are currently seeking experienced candidates for the key role of Head of Operations & SSC. The role involves day to day management of the SSC as well as proactively and efficiently contributing to the development of the overall SSC strategy.

Our Client is a well-known brand, leader in its market segment running an e-commerce business model. The company has established a Shared Service Center located in Warsaw to support its European entities.
Description
- Leading and managing the Shared Services Center
- Tracking business unit performance as well as leading and challenging management
- Exercising control over the implementation of business objectives by subordinate units and coordinating work related to ensuring high quality of services
- Designing and implementing a development strategy to increase productivity, service level as well as assure possibilities for further expansion
- Recommending solutions leading to the optimization of processes in the organization
- Empowering a continuous improvement culture
- Assessing costs and risks of all business initiatives
- Budget planning and implementation of financial strategy plans
- Participating in SSC projects including overseeing transition projects aiming to move new business functions to the SSC
- Building a corporate culture in which all employees are respected, valued and motivated to contribute to their maximum potential
- Developing and implementing an effective internal communication strategy
- Building relationships with stakeholders located in different European countries
- Close cooperation with the Board of Directors located in Germany
Profile
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Exceptional decision making skills and result-oriented approach
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Relevant experience in a managing role on a senior level within an international organization
- Experience in the SSC / BPO environment or an international e-commerce/retail organization will be an asset
- Fluency in English (very good command of German will be an asset)
- Experience in process optimization projects (knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean methodology will be an asset)
- University degree
