Head of Finance (Czechy)
The Head of Finance will have primary responsibility for all accounting, finance, controlling, tax and other regulatory financial reporting requirements of the Czech region as well as providing operational and commercial support to the business. The Head of Finance is a key member of the senior management teams in the region.

Our client is a part of international capital group which operates in a field of production and distribution of industry chemical products, especially for mining with global growing operations in Poland, Czech and all over the world. Due to continued growth of their organization, and changes in the finance structure, they are looking for an experienced candidate for the role of Head of Finance. This individual will be fully responsible for managing the company's financial accounting operations in Czech.
Description
Bookkeeping
- responsibility for accounting, accounting and taxation
- annual financial statements, DPPO tax return, audit, annual report
- related governance documents
- inventory of cash
Financial
- cash-flow management
- Payment through SW Multicash and HSBC for bank accounts in the Czech Republic (ČSOB, HSBC), Slovakia Republic (ČSOB)- communication with banks and conclusion of contracts (for commitment limits),- payment cards for employees - handling of bank guarantees - communication with OFL (deposit / loans), cash balances
Planning
- drawing up annual plans and multiannual perspectives
- investment plans and evaluation of their performance
- submitting individual investment applications (CAPEX) for Sceptre approval
Reporting
- monthly company results reports, comments, estimates for parent company, consolidation of databases, evaluation and adjustment of individual records the division of missing costs and revenues, balancing balance sheets and supplementary information (such as Sales volumes, Inventory aging, Cash fixed costs by type, etc.)
- quarterly and semi-annual accounts for consolidation
- reporting results and forecast as required
- letter of assurance
Other
- insurance management - global insurance, car insurance, traveling insurance
- economic area regulations (TRMP, recruitment)
- control of the economic requirements of important contracts in cooperation with the company's directors, the administration and recovery of receivables, repayment schedules, documents for issuing reminders, CESR
- management and settlement of liabilities
- check of reports, cooperation on reports, payment transactions
- monthly control of project profitability, estimated items
Internal Controls
- as required by the parent company (eg SoD - approaches in NAV, Suppliers, Customers)
Profile
-
first requirement is a Qualified Accountant with good experience in other Foreign Owned Organizations with excellent English skills

demonstrated ability to review and update processes and drive efficiency across the finance activities

university of Economics degree

excellent knowledge of accounting and tax laws (VAT, DPPO); - agreed - through maintaining a professional accountancy qualification

user knowledge of working with PC (Word, Excel, Outlook)

experience in accounting and taxation for at least 5 years, agreed - through maintaining a professional accountancy qualification

knowledge of English and Czech in both word and script English MUST be fluent
