For our Client, international group of few companies within a diversified businesses, we are looking for an experienced Tax Manager. Person on this position will report in matrix structure and support Finance Directors from various entities.
On your new role you will be responsible for formulating company’s tax goals, constant improvement of tax processes, supervising and coordinating all tax matters within the group (few Group’s entities in Poland). You will be also responsible for analysis and tax opinions concerning activities of the company, assuring tax optimization and effective processes, looking for a tax optimal solutions and direct cooperation with international team. Tax Manager will also provide day-to-day tax advisory assistance, have close cooperation with Finance Director, will prepare analysis of projects of agreements to be concluded by the group from tax perspective, prepare comments and opinions for internal purposes, day to day cooperation with every business unit – assistance in tax aspects, collection of certain tax documents, preparation and conducting trainings for employees in respect of tax issues, preparation of projects and implementation of tax procedures, verification of VAT settlements of the entities, in particular VAT registers, VAT returns, coordination of work connected with opening of new potential entities from tax perspective, verification of CIT settlements, including monthly CIT calculation, preparation and submission of CIT-8 declaration, verification of WHT settlements, coordination of preparation of transfer pricing documentation, preparation and submission of applications for issuance of individual interpretations of tax law, document verification for tax authorities in respect of tax audits, preparation of sufficient letters with explanations. Tax Manager will have duties connected with tax settlements of Polish entities in Group: CIT, VAT, WHT, RET, TP documentation, cooperation with tax authorities (particular during tax audits), coordination of cooperation with external tax advisors.
What you'll need to succeed: Minimum 5 years of professional experience and knowledge gained in tax area in any independent/ managerial position, being an Expert on Polish specific tax regulations and local tax administration (in particular: CIT, Transfer Pricing, VAT, PCC, RET). Tax advisor license will be an asset. Experience in functional leadership. What is more, on this role you need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure, have partner and customer focus, teamwork and cooperation, problem solving skills and being Fluent Polish and English What you'll get in return.
